AWA is Proud to Honor Black History Month

Black History Month has been celebrated in the United States during February since 1976 to raise awareness of and pay homage to the experiences and contributions of Black people throughout our nation’s history. The intersectionality of racism and sexism can challenge Black women artists personally and professionally as they pursue their passions.
