Celebrating Women's History Month
In honor of Women's History Month, we want to thank each of you for being part of American Women Artists. We celebrate women's history month to acknowledge and celebrate the women who came before us while working together for our future.

Focus on Women in Galleries and Museums
We are excited to highlight museums and galleries that are focusing on women artists worldwide. Click the gallery/museum name for more information.
Over half of the contemporary artists will be added to the national free collection at Tate will be women, including women artists from the 17th, 18th, and 19th centuries that have never been featured.
Dacia Gallery, NY Women Artists Exhibition, from March 2, 2023 - March 31, 2023
Embodying an eclectic mix of contemporary artists that focus on painting, drawing, sculpture and mixed media, the collection contains a mosaic of work through a life long study of anatomy, depth, color and light through the unique vision of each artist.
A three-year long exhibition, exploring the visual representation of women through artworks in the collection. It attempts to re-address preconceived notions of femininity and gender as a social construct through art history by providing a more inclusive understanding towards it.
